Elizabeth Storer
President & CEO
Liz serves as the President and CEO of the George B. Storer Foundation. Since 2008, she has led the organization through a process that has engaged two new generations of her family, restructured the foundation’s governance, revamped its investment policy, hired its first staff and adopted its first strategic plan. A passionate angler and conservationist, Liz was the first woman to serve on the US Fly Fishing team in 1997, and received the Conservation Leadership Award from the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership in 2019. Elected in 2022, Liz also serves in the Wyoming legislature, representing Teton County’s House District 23. Liz holds BA and MFA degrees from the Cinema School at the University of Southern California. She enjoys fishing, cycling, biking and skiing with her husband, Luther Propst, and their two mixed-heeler pups.
Suzie Hultman
Director of Finance and Operations
Suzie Hultman is the Director of Finance and Operations at the George B. Storer Foundation. Since 2010, Suzie has overseen critical internal functions of the organization, including finance, investments, governance and operations. She recently joined the Foundation’s program team in working to define and develop a new grantmaking focus at the intersection of climate, equity and democracy. Prior to joining the George B. Storer Foundation, Suzie served as the direct marketing manager at Cloudveil Mountain Apparel, and continues to serve as a ski school host at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Suzie is a graduate of Stanford University, earning degrees in Economics and Political Science. She is a board member of Jackson Hole Youth Mountain Biking and enjoys adventuring with her husband, two teenage sons, and a rambunctious lab.
Katie Steinberg
Office Administrator
Katie Steinberg is the Office Administrator at the George B. Storer Foundation. She recently joined the team in 2022 and ensures smooth operation of the workplace. She manages daily office tasks, coordinates schedules, communicates with grantees, and maintains an efficient and welcoming office environment. Prior to joining the Storer Foundation she worked as a math and science teacher at Jackson Hole Middle School. Katie earned her undergraduate degree from Colorado College and a Masters in Education in Biology from Simmons College. She enjoys running long distances and watching her two young sons learn to ski.
Kathleen Doffermyre
Senior Program Officer
Kathleen Doffermyre is the Senior Program Officer at the George B. Storer Foundation. Since 2009, Kathleen has developed and overseen all grantmaking strategy and processes, for almost $50 million in grants. Kathleen is passionate about promoting children’s health through well-designed early childhood outdoor learning environments. Prior to joining the Storer Foundation she worked at the Murie Center in Grand Teton National Park. Kathleen has a BA in English and Elementary Education from William and Mary. She is a founding board member of Blue Sky Funders Forum and the President of the Jackson Hole chapter of Trout Unlimited. Kathleen is a retired soccer player and avid angler and enjoys biking with her husband, two young redheaded kids, and two adventurous dogs.
